Or when hell freezes over, whichever comes first!
Well, one thing you can say for sure about Donald Trump, he’s brash. That was no truer than this past Sunday when George Stephanopoulos sat down with him to discuss his proposed tax plan. It seems Donald’s critics are saying that the one who stands to benefit most from Trump’s tax plan is, well, Donald Trump. But Trump stands behind it, saying all Americans will benefit.
The conversation really got interesting when Stephanopoulos brought up the subject of when Donald might release of his tax returns. In true “Apprentice” fashion, Trump deflected this remark on none other than…wait for it…Hillary Clinton. Apparently he has no intention of releasing this information until Hillary comes clean on her emails.
Looks like it’s ReturnsGate vs EmailGate. I’d say, score one for the Donald.
Will we ever see Trump’s tax return? Maybe when Hil freezes over! Until then, there is no law requiring him to do so.
Check out the video clip below of the Stephanopoulos interview:
Donald Trump insisted that once “we find out the true story on Hillary’s emails,” he will release his tax returns during an appearance on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday with George Stephanopoulos.
Trump explained that when he pays his taxes, “I pay as little as possible, I’m very proud to tell you… [and] I fight like hell to pay as little as possible.”
